CANCUN DENTIST STERILIZATION AND SANITIZATION PROTOCOLS DURING COVID-19

We all know the name and we all know the impact it has had on every aspect of our lives, Now patient safety has always been priority of dental clinics and none more so than our Cancun dental teams.

People still need to see the dentist Be that a dental emergency for a Root Canal, Broken tooth, Abscesses a traumatic injury to the teeth, a visit to the dentist is needed. There are also people who still want to get their smiles back and have beautiful, functioning teeth.

For patients having to complete their dental work in Cancun that may have been started earlier on in the year they will want to know that their health continues to be in the best hands (and safest hands) possible.

There will be people still wanting to go ahead with a dental vacation to Cancun when restrictions are lessened or lifted for treatments such as  Dental Crowns, Cosmetic dental Veneers, Dental Implants or full Oral rehabilitations and our patients will be able to be sure that the dental clinics are able and ready to still provide attention during and after this uncertain period.

Dental professionals have always been on the frontline when it comes to exposure and understand throughly the importance of infection control measures and the importance of strict sanitization and sterilization protocols within the clinical environment to protect and minimize risks to both patients and dental team members.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines remain the gold standard that dental offices use today. In these guidelines, instrument processing plays a central role in preventing the transmission of infection. Because of the ever evolving information and findings the dental team here in Cancun continuously follow recommendations and best practices outlined as well as constant reading of updated guidelines and protocols.

What the dental team here in Cancun wants all patients current, new and in the future to know is that they are doing absolutely everything possible to ensure safety to all, remember the teams are potentially at risk to exposure everyday, so attention to hygienic, sanitization and sterlization processes have always been strictly adhered to and followed as standard, even before this heightened health concern.

Standard Precautions are the minimum infection prevention practices that apply to all patient care, regardless in any setting where health care is delivered. These practices are designed to both protect DENTIST and prevent DENTAL TEAMS from spreading infections among patients. Standard Precautions include

1. Hand hygiene.

2. Use of personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves,

masks, eyewear).

3. Respiratory hygiene/cough etiquette.

4. Sharps safety (engineering and work practice

controls).

5. Safe injection practices

6. Sterile instruments and devices.

7. Clean and disinfected environmental surfaces.

THE ONLY DENTAL CLINIC IN CANCUN TO COUNT ON THIS ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY - BASED ON RESEARCH BY NASA, IMPORTED DIRECT FROM THE United States.

Introducing the next line of defense and peace of mind for our dental patients in Cancun

Our dental Specialists are the only dental Clinic in Cancun to count upon the latest air filtration technology based on research by NASA to add another level of sanitization to their clinical surroundings.

ReSPR technology does what no normal purification system can to continuously control fine air particles, airborne bacteria, VOCs and surface pathogens – safely

ReSPR revolutionary space-station tested technology stands out for its ability to attack gases and bacterial threats proactively throughout the whole air purification chain. It uses up to 5 natural processes to actively recreate fresh, outdoor air conditions in an eco-friendly way.

ReSPR technology has been proven to be more effective than chemical solutions at destroying harmful airborne and surface bacteria, viruses and fungal spores including norovirus, MRSA, E. coli, Streptococcus spp. It uses two types of ionization to reduce particles, and UV light and a catalyst to create oxygen and hydrogen-based friendly oxidizers to reduce microbial contaminants and reduce odors.

The science: Independent tests show that ReSPR is green and energy efficient and treated air is 99.999% free of harmful microorganisms, circulating as fresh air.

Based On Research By Nasa

ReSPR was developed for space missions to control ethylene gas, the natural aging & ripening accelerator emitted by plants that is highly damaging to them in enclosed spaces. The tiny particle size of the gas (below 0.3µm) meant that no existing filter could control it, apart from ReSPR of course.

Sample Test 1: Pathogens – Reduce up to 99.99% of mold, fungi, bacteria and viruses. Multiple, independent tests show how strikingly effective surface results are in just 24 hours on common bacteria & fungi including Ecoli, Streptococcus & MRSA.
